Where I'm going next
Spoiler: it's not another newsletter.
For the last year, this newsletter has been the only place I share how campaigns actually win.
That’s about to change.
I just started a YouTube channel. Same insights, same tactical depth — campaign budgets, field programs, voter targeting, the math behind winning races — just in a different format.
Some of this work lands better on video. A 2,000-word article on field programs is great. A 10-minute breakdown where I can show you the actual numbers, walk through a real budget, point at the map — that’s better.
And some readers will read every newsletter and never click play. Some folks will watch every video and never read a word. Both are fine. The goal is to put this stuff in front of more people who need it — first-time candidates, campaign staffers, party leaders, and people thinking about running.
The first video is up. It’s the entry-point video — for anyone who’s ever thought about helping on a campaign and hasn’t pulled the trigger:
What’s coming
Two new videos drop over the next couple of weeks:
Lessons From Managing My First Race — a Trump+60 district we almost flipped, and the four lessons that race taught me that I still use today.
Why First-Time Candidates Waste $100K — the budgeting framework I give every client.
Most will pair with a Substack post — same argument, two formats, you pick what works for you.
Where things live now
Substack stays the home for the deep dives. The numbers, the case studies, the full math — that’s here.
YouTube is the audio-visual version.
Both are free. Subscribe to whichever one helps you most. If you’ve ever wanted to send this work to a candidate or campaign manager who wouldn’t read a long article — now you have a link they’ll actually open!
More soon.

Sounds like a nice way to continue sharing your experience and insight. Best wishes!
